In this week’s episode we raise our eyes to the heavens and prepare ourselves to be sucked straight into God’s waiting room as we investigate the unlikely modern trend which sees people from all over the world selling their cars, rehoming their pets and spending more time out doors in preparation for the rapture; an event where God’s faithful ascend into heaven prior to the kick-off of Armageddon and the seven years of brutal Tribulations during the end of the world when Jesus comes back to kick Satan in the teeth. On the free side of the show we explore the modern trend as it explodes on Tik Tok before winding back the clock to see how the faithful and the Church alike have long theorized about this particular event before wrapping up what the entire thing has to do with Aleister Crowley. More than you’d think probably. In the extended show we take a look at places where the tribulations period has invaded popular culture before settling into a rather enlightening investigation into the Virgin Mary’s Assumption into heaven which, at the very end, descends into Tim and Luke yelling at each other about Star Wars.
